The statute of the most successful dog of the year of the Estonian Welsh Corgi Club

The title of the most successful dog of the year, organized by the Estonian Welsh Corgi Club, can compete for all welsh corgi pembrokes and welsh corgi cardigans, which have been entered in the EST register by the end of the year of the competition at the latest and whose owner has a valid membership in the Corgi Club at the time of submitting the application for the competition.

For all participants, the ten best show results between January 1st and December 31st will be considered. Place points are counted if the dog has received the grade "excellent with certificate" and the puppy "special award". Only shows with certificate rights entered in the calendar plan of an FCI member or its partner country (international, national, group shows, special shows) are taken into account.

The Tõuühing itself counts the points of the results of the shows held in Estonia, but those who wish to participate notify their desire to participate by e-mail by sending a link to the show results of their dog's EST register. . Shows held outside of Estonia will only be taken into account if the dog's owner sends information about the show (national, international, group, breed or other special show) with a copy of the description page and the results achieved (result confirmation).
In countries where there is no PI/PE calculation, PI1/PE1 points and PI2/PE2 points for res-CACIB are calculated for CACIB obtained at an international show. The results must be received by the Breed Association by January 15 of the year following the evaluation year.

In case of an equal number of points, the dog with higher points from special shows, if they are also equal, then from international shows, and if they are equal, then from national shows.

Accounts are kept for both breeds separately. One dog can participate in several competitions.

The Estonian Welsh Corgi Breeding Association awards the participants of the competition classes. The breed association reserves the right to make changes to the scoring system. When making changes, the association will also announce it on its website.

The most successful puppy, junior and veteran of the year

When choosing the most successful puppy of the year (age 4-9 months), junior (age 9-18 months) and veteran (from 8 years of age), points are counted if the dog competes in the baby, puppy, junior or veteran class, respectively.


The most successful show dog of the year

Candidates for the title of the most successful show dog of the year:
1.   dogs that have reached a point position by participating in the youth, open, use or champion class and are at least 15 months old;
2.       juniors and veterans who have reached the point position in PI/PE and VSP and TP selection. Junior and veteran age group points are not taken into account in this case

Breeder of the Year

A kennel registered in the EST register whose owner lives permanently in Estonia and is a member of the Breed Association can be submitted to the competition. The most successful breeder of the year is selected based on the show results of no more than five offspring living in Estonia or outside Estonia from his kennel. Offspring must come from at least two different combinations of parents. The ten best show results from the age of the junior class are taken into account.

Breeding dog of the year   

A dog registered in the EST register whose owner lives permanently in Estonia and is a member of the Breed Association can be submitted to the competition. The breeding dog of the year is selected based on the show results of no more than five offspring living in Estonia or outside Estonia. Offspring must come from at least two different combinations of parents. The ten best show results from the age of the junior class will be taken into account.

Coefficients and extra points for participating in the competition

  1. World Winner and European Winner shows: points are obtained by multiplying the corresponding place points in the table by 4. *the winning title gives 5 points.
  2. Welsh Corgi Special Show: points are obtained by multiplying the corresponding place points in the table by 3.
  3. International exhibition: points are obtained by multiplying the corresponding place points in the table by 2. *national / state capital winner title gives 2 points.
  4. The points for Nordic Show exhibitions are obtained by multiplying the corresponding place points in the table by 2.
  5. National exhibition: points are obtained by multiplying the corresponding place points in the table by 1.5.
  6. Group show or multi-breed special show: points are obtained according to the table, no separate coefficient is applied. BIS score points are only counted for 2 or more groups.
  7. Each national JCH /CH/Vet CH title confirmed in the EKL during the period of the competition gives 2 extra points; BALT JCH/ BALT CH/ BALT Vet CH title gives 2 extra points.
  8. During the period of the competition, the requirements for the C.I.B, ​​C.I.B.-J and C.I.B.-V titles have been fulfilled (for formalization, an application has been made to the Estonian Kennel Union or a title approved by the FCI) - give 3 extra points.
